WP eMember Review (Video Review)

Creating Membership Sites in WordPress

Creating a membership site in WordPress can be a bit of a hassle. Some plugins are just too difficult to use, and the ones that are simple to use, do not have enough powerful features and do not integrate with other third-party products such as autoresponders or affiliate platforms.

I have tried a few other membership solutions, but now I exclusively use WP eMember since it has all the advanced features I need so I can create a membership site without technical limitations.

This membership plugin does it all and more. It has loads of configuration options, but unless you really need to tweak, you can leave most of the settings as default and you can quickly have a paid membership site operational in no time.

I created a video to show you some of the great features from WP eMember and how I use it. When I setup my membership sites, I always like to use multiple membership levels and even offer some free content to build my list (using a free membership level).

I also like have content that dynamically changes depending on the membership level of the person logged in. Not many other membership plugins have such a rich feature set… and definitely not for this price.

Not logged in: Anyone can view this content.
Free Membership Level: People can signup for free to access this protected content. Great for building your list.
Silver Membership Level: Paid members only.
Gold Membership Level: Paid members only.

I also give a complete demo of how to upsell and add special offers for free and paid members, as well showing dynamic content that changes according to the current membership level of the web visitor.

The second half of the video shows the admin area and how to create and modify membership levels and members.

Summary

WP eMember can do so much more than what I have demonstrated in this screencast, It is my preferred WordPress membership plugin because it is so flexible, the support at Tips and Tricks HQ is by far the best in the industry and those guys write rock-solid code.
